Lookin around yesterday i find Avid. Such and old friend .I cannot begin to tell ya'll. The first to show in the Good Gallery, in those trendy Everet Lofts back in 90'... He showed the Harley guy fotos, and we learned patience and new words and the sight of this cool old guy always made it a warmer day in that rainy, cold town... Thats Portland friends, a long time ago. He's still takin' fotos of kids and dogs. Theres nothing like a portrait by Avid. No big smiles and all perfect black and white... We fell apart on a raven day i surfed off to oblivian where the sun did'nt shine, and the brother grew and changed..it took this poor artist a little longer.... All good now Avid, livin'in a weird and beautiful place, with the girl and the dog, we're happy, feisty and prepared for the ambush, or the peace, which ever comes first.The art is flowin' and after all the giant waves that have washed alot away...when i think of that place ,long ago, i think of Avid....You can call,my Brother
