the freakshow was emotionally draining, if not out right, then i don t know what. painted much, lost much, or gained from the loss... who can say....?

... am stuck painting big things for little gratification. but painting. bukouski said " Artists sell out fast and cheap..:" yeah.
the life of the artist is very hard. be you Barcelo, julian gomez, or jess level... its hard. all good i say. Only hard?

There was a long line of children and anxious parents out in the plaza today. young santas helpers loading them on to a little train... one of the kids was showing great reluctence on climbing up the final step ..."we are comming back, arnt we...?" asked the kid...the father pondered the question...

Yolanda brought in a copy, in castellaño, of Mad magazine. Yes. I was reading it, and brother i gotta say...i am immortal,si...but im feelin a little less today. folks, Mad magazine , as we knew it....is dead. as is James Brown.... James fuckin Brown ha muerto. found it sad. another prophet put to disc. the brother was as cool as they got. i will miss him.

But, i will not miss today. yeah, i painted some stuff. and yeah, i smoked a bit. and yeah, those 2 vinines did nt help much...was about 11:00 or so... that, along with many other things i ve been livin lately... well for the past year really....
Only been a year...? vaya.....their killin me i tell ya. well no, but well, you know...

if your in america, xmas is just beginning to occure. ive seen it, go back to bed... next year im going to spend xmas in an islamic country.... if thats still possible, that is. worlds a smaller place than when i started this long strange trip. and it has been a long strange trip indeed......the freakshow continues. to next year in Fez...

thats my xmas blog. watched " Its a Wonderful Life " today. and ya know, Jimmy Stewarts castellaño...was perfect.

normally i dont have any money on sunday nowadays. used to be different. but as we all know, things changed 22 agosto. what was aint no more,and it aint lookin like we re going to be see any of that stuff, that cool rastro stuff again. all good...yeah, no pasa nada....

so its the brink of xmas. again. only a wee or 10 days more and we all get to start over again. i enter into another phase... their threatening me, my way of life. the state that is. yeah, ive thought about the "what if...." like what if i truly had to go back to the eeuu.... ? a question that just hangs in the air like smoke....just hangin there. dont believe it would be the most pleasent experience in the world.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, its 7 am. The monster children on call rosal have all dragged home, and the monring is taking shape. dont have a balconey like usual . i enjoy this one from the window. a good window. in a little while i ll put on the franco glasses and go see what treasures there are for the having this sunday in late dicember in the rastro de los gitianos. yolanda will find old handbags and old lady sweaters....im hunting for those old boots, and armini...almost another year in españa....

.... life will change. be patient.... we are in the last critical moments of xmas here, its like last year and the year befor that... i, as i have said every year since 1997, i am going to spend the next xmas in an islamic country. no santas. no cort ingles... someone told me jesus was born in march...?i ll leave it to ya'll to consider the ramifications of that truth.

have sold all thats good in the portfolio. i was awash in art in agosto. people freaked when i showed up to display "some new stuff..." yep. 2 hours and 400 peices later... i sell 3. all good. there is some one around here, with a great stash of original jess level paintings and drawings and sculptures..many photos of old work, and well some underwear of mine...

...life will change. be patient...
