of statement concerning my three
years in exile to this awful country...
Ok, here it is...
It remains awful, with brief moments
of joy. That old country...
as weird and complicated as I allowed
it to be, it was where I had excepted I
would live forever...the art and I.
There are worse outcomes, sure.
But this one took a bit more outta this
poor, but famous artists soul
than he had thought,
so it did.
